​My name is Maurizio, I am a clinical psychologist with more than 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults. I have a master degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Florence and I am a registered member of the Tuscany Psychological Association (Ordine degli Psicologi della Toscana). This means that the OPL has endorsed and approved my practice as meeting high standards of proficiency. For several years I have been working in the child protection department of the city of Florence, providing psychological support, training and guidance to foster families.

I have spent many years in the UK, where I further developed my clinical skills first as a research assistant at the Tavistock and Portman Clinic, NHS Foundation Trust (London), and then in the position of Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner at the Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust. 

Since 2017 I provide psychological support, face to face and online, both in Italian and English, to people who experience different kinds of mental health difficulties. 

I am a provider for the global insurances Geo Blue and International SOS.

I am currently based in Florence, where I work privately in my studio in via Pagnini, 27.
